A fall tradition of Church on the Hill is the gathering of men and boys for the annual communion breakfast.

The guest speaker this year is Rev. Dr. Micah McCreary, President of New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Previously, he led McCreary and Madison Associates, Incorporated, a psychological and human resources consulting firm as President and CEO.  Dr. McCreary also worked as a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) for 21 years. During his career at VCU, Dr. McCreary held other positions including his service as Assistant Vice Provost for Diversity, Quality Enhancement Plan Coordinator, and Co-Director of the Counseling Psychology Program.

Dr. McCreary and his wife, the Reverend Dr. Jacqueline E. Madison-McCreary, pastored the Spring Creek Baptist Church in Moseley, Virginia, for 16 years.  The McCrearys are the parents of one adult daughter.

Cost of the breakfast is $8 per person.
