Children & Worship
Children & Worship is a spiritual formation approach that presents a joyful way for children to worship God. It invites children and adults to experience the wonder and mystery of God through a unique storytelling format and multi-sensory materials. Children and Worship provides an age-appropriate way of being in worship with children ages three to nine. Each week thousands of children, who are part of hundreds of congregations in North America and around the world, use the program to experience rather than merely learn about worship. Based on Montessori principles of early childhood learning, this program continues to be one of the most effective ways of nurturing children’s faith and preparing them for worship with the whole congregation.
Children are invited to participate in the beginning of worship. After the Junior Sermon, children ages 3-8 are dismissed to Children and Worship.
All volunteers leading Children and Worship have undergone background checks.
Children and Worship is not offered during the summer.
