ACTIVE MEMBER and Ministry Leader, Second Reformed Church, Zeeland, MI (2016-Present)
Provide weekly music leading (vocal and piano), occasional preaching and worship leading, ministry to elementary youth, ministry to middle school youth, preparation of weekly church meals, and (as an intern) regular participation at staff and consistory meetings.

INTERIM CHAPEL SUPERVISOR, Western Theological Seminary, Holland, MI (Spring 2020)
Stewarded the vision, ethos, and culture of the worshipping community at WTS, including through the transition to online worship; oversaw the master calendar, worship facility, and student leadership team; empowered all worship leaders for beautiful and meaningful daily worship; and designed accessible and hospitable processes to ensure seamless worship planning and communal worship experiences.

SUMMER INTERN, Hopkins (MI) United Methodist Church (2019)
Participated fully in the life of a small rural church and all pastoral duties including: regular preaching and weekly worship planning; home, nursing home, and hospital visits; weekly women’s prayer meeting; weekly Sabbath and other self-care practices; and vacation coverage while the pastor was away.

OTHER EMPLOYMENT

PROJECT ASSISTANT, Calvin Institute of Christian Worship (2004-2007, 2017-Present)
Currently serve as the editor for PreachingandWorship.org; also handled daily operations of the Continuing Education Office at Calvin Theological Seminary; managed email and phone correspondence with CICW constituents through a 20,000-entry database; and planned and executed conferences and events details that affected 20-1700 people.

ACQUISITIONS ASSOCIATE, Baker Academic & Brazos Press, Grand Rapids, MI (2008-2016)
Assisted the editorial director, acquisitions editors, project editors, authors, and colleagues in other departments with all stages of the book publishing process from financial feasibility to final product; communicated regularly with key parties to ensure timely completion of yearly, seasonal, weekly, and daily schedules; managed paperwork, due dates, permission, and illustrations for multi-contributor projects and major classroom reference works.

WORSHIP PLANNER and Musician, First Christian Reformed Church, Grand Rapids, MI (2005-2016)
Regularly accompanied worship services and choirs, assisted with worship planning, served as an Administrative Deacon, sat on a Pastoral Search Committee, and led music for Vacation Bible School.
