Candidate 54
COVER LETTER
My ministry is built from Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” People need people. We hone each other to make each other better, stronger, and wiser. I desire to serve in a place where faith matters, peace is a gift, and people are recognized. With many years of experience in corporate communication, pastoral care, and faith formation, I believe I can be a valuable asset to the congregation of Church on the Hill.
After graduating seminary, I have been journeying through a season of discernment to seek where God is placing me to serve. From executive to seminarian to minister to non-profit director, I have been asking the Lord what recipe are you creating with these ingredients? My prayer has been for the Lord to guide my steps in a fruitful path where my executive leadership, enthusiasm, and education can be used to Bless God’s People. My interest and skillset keep rerouting to the vocation of pastoring. Even though I am not a pastor of a brick-and-mortar church, I am blessed to be the shepherd in the lives of many. I have extensive experience working with all ages and I am grateful for my gifts to minister and create liturgies that help people in their daily faith walk.
I understand the operations of the church from the programming, ministries, finances, and people. It is important to measure the fruitfulness of the ministry and the fiscal responsibilities of the ministry. Through congregational care and developing ministry partners, Church on the Hill will be one of the premier locations to experience Christ in the borough of Queens and greater New York City.
There are some phenomenal happenings eligible for the ministries, missions, and programs of Church on the Hill. Let’s start the conversation and see how networking and teamwork will build more opportunities for equity, education, and equality amongst the People of God. Please review my resume which provides an array of professional flavors that adhere to my organizational communication and leadership. I look forward to discussing my qualifications further.
