* SANCTUS (pew card)
* CALL TO WORSHIP Sarah and Annabelle White
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake, though the waters roar.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of the city; it shall not be moved; God will help it when the morning dawns.
"Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth."
The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
* HYMN No. 376 We Gather Together
* PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of grace, we confess that we have elevated the things of this world above you. We have made idols of possessions and people. We have permitted our schedules to come first and have not taken the time to worship you. We have participated in systems that take life instead of give it. We have been unfaithful in our covenant relationships. Forgive us, O God, for the many ways we fall short of your glory. Help us to learn to live together according to your ways through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Jesus Christ has been ordained by God the Father and has been anointed with the Holy Spirit to be our chief prophet and teacher who fully reveals to us the counsel and will of God concerning our deliverance; our only high priest who has delivered us and who continually pleads our cause with the Father; and our eternal king who governs us by his Word and Spirit, and who guards us and keeps us in the freedom he has won for us.
