Sunday School

We believe that a faith centered in Christ empowers us to meet the challenges and joys of daily living. As a congregation in the Reformed tradition, we seek to
nurture this faith of our children through a Bible-centered curriculum and to provide them with the significant teachings of lasting and eternal value.
We strive to provide a foundation upon which they can further develop their understanding ofscripture, our theology and our history, as they journey toward Confirmation, when they will publicly profess their faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings.
We offer classes for Pre-K through High School (post Confirmation), with an enrollment of sixty children. Confirmation class is given in the ninth grade. Our Sunday School holds several family fellowship activities during the year, culminating with a Children's Day Worship service and church barbeque in June. The children learn the meaning of serving others through fund-raising for various benevolences, both at our own church and in other parts of the community and the world through missions, as well. A primary focus of the Sunday School is to incorporate and connect the lessons learned to family life at home. Education, in the framework of our Reformed tradition, should both nurture us and provide us with knowledge of our Christian heritage as we journey through our formation of faith.
