Outreach
Our purpose is to share our facilities, people and resources with individuals and groups. We also reach out to the community and it's needs.
Here are some of what our volunteers do. There is a place here for you. Please come and fill it. We are waiting to welcome you!
- Driving the van on Sunday mornings
- Sleeping overnight at the Homeless Shelter program
- Bringing altar flowers to the shut-ins
- Visiting nursing homes
- Bringing food for the food pantry in College Point
- Doing the "quiet jobs" nobody knows about
- Being a greeter at the Homeless Shelter
- Driving the Tuesday morning grocery shopper
