Luncheon at La Motta's Waterside Restaurant

Imagine...just imagine... Soft wind playing over the white- capped waves on Long Island Sound. Imagine... Wisps of feathery clouds skimming across azure blue skies. Imagine... White sails whisking boats across the welcoming seas.

You don’t have to imagine this. You can actually experience all this by reserving your place for our luncheon at La Motta’s Waterside Restaurant in Port Washington June 23. Lunch will be served in an enclosed veranda overlooking the bay and the moored yachts. You will have a buffet of salads, chicken, fish, pastas, fruit, desserts, coffee, soft drinks with tax and gratuity included for $40.00 per person. Bring a friend as all are welcome. Come and have an idyllic day and perhaps entertain someone special.

Contact Nina at (718) 352-4348 or Jayne at (718) 961-8086 before June 18.

Queens Discipleship Retreat

Being with God and each other strengthens our faith and helps us live it out. But we get so focused on finishing our to-do lists that sometimes we don’t leave enough space in our lives for those relationships. If you can relate, you're invited to set aside space for God and one another by participating in a discipleship retreat next month. Join with other RCA churches in Queens to:

  • Explore current models of discipleship
  • Grow your capacity to participate in God's work both personally and as a community
  • Share a meal and time of fellowship

This is a free event but registration is required. Please register here.

This retreat will be led by the Rev. Dr. Jill Ver Steeg, Director of Transformational Engagement for the Reformed Church in America.
