Bargain Boutique
The Bargain Boutique is a unique Thrift Shop located in the basement of The Church on the Hill. Since its establishment more than thirty years ago, it has been a place where members of our community meet and shop together in an atmosphere of friendliness and fun.
Bargain Boutique receives numerous donations, including clothing, linens, housewares, books, toys, and other assorted items. Our staff put in many hours a week, tirelessly going through countless bags and boxes of donated goods. These are carefully sorted and displayed by our dedicated group of volunteers. The result is an eclectic collection of merchandise. A patient shopper may find a real treasure among the items for sale!
During hours of operation, customers find our workers to be genuinely welcoming and helpful, even offering a friendly ear when needed. It is this relationship with the community that helps make this shop such a success. Of course, the rock bottom prices help!
The income received by the Boutique is used to support The Church on the Hill and a wide variety of benevolences. We have provided funds for humanitarian efforts overseas, hurricane relief in this country, assistance for neighborhood programs, and camp scholarships for our Sunday School students. Our ministry is to share our proceeds with the world, our nation, and our community in the spirit of Christian love.
